Beautiful little town in a picturesque setting with a world class dinosaur (T-Rex!) exhibit.
Easy to find a site. Usually quiet. Good water and bathroom facilities. Not expensive ($20 per night per site).
Probably not too many places you can show up late on August long and still get a spot. Some of the sites have decent cover but others are wide open. The facilities are there but getting quite aged. $20 for a spot with power and water is hard to beat.
Very enjoyable area and reasonably priced.
