Very nice museum. Very focused on local fossils and the specific time period that they originate from. Very well done exhibits. Staff are knowledgeable, great gift shop and wonderful free programs for the kids. Beautiful new dinosaur dig sand box was just added.
It is quite of the map to get here... and for the long drive there really is not much here. 5 minutes of looking and you're done. And can I mention the gift shop prices? $6 for a floppy magnet? Come on. Won't come back. Very disappointed, I had high expectations.
This is a great little place to visit. It's worth the drive if you are passing nearby. I brought the family on our way back from Cypress hills. We were pleasantly surprised by how great it was.
Everything about this place was fantastic. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly (even made a phone call to check me into my campsite reservation so we could stay longer). Loved the information and how there were so many different ways to entertain the kids- and that it was still open even though we arrived late on a Sunday afternoon!!!
